This 3" tall by 3 1/2" diameter cup is designed to help you savour the complexity of aromas and flavours of rum and other sipping alcohol. The cup has a twirl in the bottom, which creates liquid motion, intensifying the nosing of aromas. The profile flares out at the top to promote the release of aromas. Meira’s unique high-fire altered porcelain is thrown, altered, manipulated and sprigged with coloured clay impressions. She uses thick slips and a multitude of sprayed glazes to highlight the forms. Her work reflects her environment, the west coast rainforest and her travels to the desert in Nevada.
Each piece is hand-crafted and unique. They are dishwasher and microwave safe, but hand washing is recommended.
