Original digital painting, printed on canvas using Epson archival inks and UV lacquer.
John began with a blank canvas, to which he added layers of gesso and pigment, adding colour and texture. He photographed the resulted raw image, digitally dissecting and reassembling it to create form and structure. The final image was printed directly onto a canvas in a print run of one.
