Kathleen's painting and photography focuses on her love of being outdoors. Living on the West Coast of Vancouver Island, she has the pleasure of being able to paint outside year-round. As such, she is a part of an en Plein Air painter group who work outside each week, where she thrives on the immediacy of solving visual problems on the fly. Many of these locations are included or evoked in her works.
