"Growing up near the Rocky Mountains in Calgary, Alberta, sparked my fascination with the outdoors. Guided by the passion I felt for the rugged Canadian landscape, I pursued studies in Earth Science at the University of Victoria and subsequently worked as a geologist for several years before making the decision to pursue art full-time. My artistic education has been shaped through local studio sessions and private mentorship, supplemented by continual learning through workshops and an ever-expanding collection of art literature."
